Competition boomerangs are made to be thrown at events and are not recommended for the casual thrower as they can be tricky to learn and master. If you are looking for an easy-to-throw first boomerang go to our recreational thrower page.
The longest range boomerang from my line: you can get way past 150 meters with it, if you know how to weigh and tune it right - see instructions- and if you have the required power and technique.
The Mini Marathon is modelled after the original Marathon designed by the late, legendary Herb Smith. This model is 3mm thick with a wingspan of 34cm, a later design, much smaller, and shaped in a different way as well. If thrown correctly (with plenty of tilt and plenty of spin and momentum), the Mini Marathon can break 100 meters on a good day. Without added weight it is a beautiful 50-60m flier with a great hover. Please note that colors and patterns may vary. The Straight Shooter is made from 4mm paxolin, with weight and wingspan (39cm) almost like the Challenger III. This model also enables you to break the 100 m barrier, but its full potential isn't quite as far as the Challenger. Due to the narrower elbow it retains spin much better and makes it easier to get a full return, even with a catch. Please note that colors and patterns may vary. The Challenger II is a lighter and easier to throw version of the original Challenger. If tuned correctly the Challenger II can still take you close to the 100 meter mark. It can take an enormous amount of wind because it has such a high spin retention rate, and it has even been repeatedly used by competitors for MTA in high winds. It can be thrown in any wind between 1 and 5 Beauforts. The Challenger II is made of 3mm Paxolin and has a wingspan of 33cm. Please note that colors and pattern may vary. The famous long distance daddy- range up to 150 meters, if weighted and tuned correctly. For competition use and not for unexperienced throwers!
The Vulcano Hook Medium is a modern-classic hook, adaptated from the all-time famous Gerhards-Hook by Al Gerhards. This model is made of 4mm Paxolin, with a wingspan of 35cm and features a beautiful 90m flight. It is a long range and accurate stick! Please note that colors and patterns may vary. The Space Ranger is designed for the Maximum Time Aloft competition event. It is made of 1.5ml paxolin-fibre and is great for light wind reliable 30sec flight and long hover. The Space Ranger handles the wind a little better than the Sky High Boomerang. Please note: if you are not a competition boomerang thrower you probably would prefer another model. This is a trick-catch boomerang. Requires a high angle of release. Lots of hover. Intermediate to advanced thrower. 25 yard round flight. wind: calm-light. Please note that colors may vary.
The Wind Seeker is a 3.2mm Pheonelic fibre Trick Catch boomerang designed for windier days. This boomerang is not recommended for beginners and is much better suited for advanced competition boomerang throwers. Please note that colors and patterns may vary.

The Tri-Blader G-12 is a clean and pragmatic solution for windy and gusty days, especially in Australian Round. The Tri-Blader G-12 is thin (2mm) and weighted so it does a higher, circular flight and does NOT get bounced off or carried away by freak winds. It has a precictable flight, maikng it an easy catch too! Please note that colors and patterns will differ from image and are promised by Volker to not be nearly as ugly!
The Sunset is one of the hottest, most popular Gel booms. The accuracy and catch ability in varying wind conditions is superior. It is easy to "weight-up" to achieve more distance! The Orion II is made from 3mm paxolin and features an asymmetrical Omega shape with a hole in the lift arm for wind stability. This boomerang is very accurate and easy to catch, making it a great choice for the Australian Round competition. The flight range is about 45-65 meters, depending on tuning, weighting and throwing style. Please note that colors and patterns may vary.

The Aussie Hook boomerang is designed for competition use, particularly in the Australian Round event (distance, accuracy, catching) It is a 3.2 Pheonelic Hook, and has a flight range of 45-55 meters. The Aussie Hook took 2nd place in World Cup 2000. Please note that colors and patterns may vary.
The Windeater II has won several international records and titles over the years. It is a killer in stronger winds due to its incredible stability and predictability. In addition the Windeater II is a great catch and very accurate. It has definitely won its merits over the years of the Boom World Cups. Can be used in 4 Bfts with no problems. It is made of 4mm Paxolin , with a flight range of 40-60 meters. This boomerang needs to be tuned for best results though. Please note that colors and patterns may vary.
The Geronimo is one of Volker's big small favorites from Blue Star. It features a very small hook that returns in the lightest of winds ( with a little twist tune) and has a beautiful flight of 50-60 meters unweighted. The Geronimo is perfect for Australian Round competition or for recreational tossing. Load it up with a bit of weight and expect distances up to 90 meters! The Geronimo is 3mm thick with a Wingspan of 27cm. Please note that colors and patterns may vary.
The Deadwood Hook is simply a reversed Windeater 2. The Deadwood Hook has a wonderful low, circular flight and a nice hover. This boomerangs is also very accurate, making is great for use in Aussie Round in medium winds or for recreational throwing. The flight range is about 50m. The amazing new shape will dazzle with its accuracy and appearance in flight. Designed by world champion Michael Gel, the wing on top causes this boom to continue to precess and turn inward at the end of its flight. Its corkscrewing flight hunts the bulls eye.
